Ring and jewelry can be taken very close to the jewelry, and there are no large requirements for the focal length of macro lens. With my experience, when using a full -range machine, it is best to use a mid -focus macro lens of about 100mm. The background blur effect is not too strong. The photos of such subjects are far more important to use light and later moisturizing.

About 100mm is the most suitable
